December 2025 Square Loans

This is my 18th loan with square, these loans have helped build my business tremendously since 2019. my lowest offer being 2100 to now paying off my highest of 38,900 - 80% paid off - always early pay off before the due date metrics.. I know the usual square verbiage "no guarantee of an offer, must be 3/4th paid for any hopes" etc.. just wondering if anyone please in similar shoes as me, has seen an offer in December yet? I desperately need this holiday boost , all metrics green and I could almost swear id have one by now .. usually I hit from lowest 54% to highest 87% but majority have been BEFORE hitting 80%... getting anxious. Anybody getting a loan recently?

No. 100% paid off a week ago. I opened 2 new locations since I got the last loan for other services so I'm wondering if that affects it - but seeing how others aren't getting offers - maybe not. The main location is retail, the other two are for billable services so they don't have daily processing.

Nothing here, sales r up, and i get the same answer over and over. I swear i used to be able to call customer service and after speaking to them id have another loan offer asap. Now they say the same things over and over as to why im not getting another offer.

Received a loan offer today, I was at 73%.  In the past, most loans were offered at 76%, for me.  Been with Square from the beginning.  This would be my 14th loan if I accept the offer. 

The offer was lower than my last offer, not sure why.  Has anyone not accepted an offer right away and received a larger offer within a few days of the initial offer?

It's a 50/50 shot, honestly. I pass on them all summer, and they come back at the same or higher price as the previous offer. I have only had a couple of lower offers in my years here.

Congrats!  I see a lot of people get lower offers.    Has anything changed in your business?  Is this generally a slow time for you?   I am nearing percentage for possible offer but it is my off season so I am expecting lower if I get an offer.

Eligibility is based on a variety of factors, including recent Square processing volume, payment frequency, outstanding balance, and account activity. To learn more about Square Loan eligibility, visit our Support Center. Based on this smaller offer and your current sales, we believe your business can safely support this amount and may be able to repay it in a shorter time frame than your previous loan offers. And since we believe your business could pay this loan back in a shorter time frame, you may qualify for additional funding sooner as you come close to repaying your loan in full, as long as your business remains strong.

So I see you get on and reply to other people every single day buf I tag you in messages and have been daily for going on like two weeks and you still wont reply too me. So Im trying again HEY ABBY_M can you please find out why I am unable to view the eligibility factors page inside of my acct it used to be there when I clicked on the View Details link under where it states my business is not eligible for a loan at this time the little link where it says view details used to go to the page that showed my metrics and what I need to work on etc it no longer shows me any of that information. i have trued calling the support line had yhe case escalated and the "Manager" Nicole has replied twice now saying im not eligible at this time BUT IM.NOT ASKING IF IM ELIGIBLE I ALREADY KNOW IM NOT THAT IS NOT WHAT I NEED HELP WITH I NEED TO KNOW WHH I CANT VIEW.MY.METRICS.ANYMORE OR WHAT NEEDS IMPROVEMENT ETC... 

I hknestly dont know how to.ask anymore directly or.differently then I have tried askinv you the.same question multiple times that you never reply too and im not asking alot here it should be a.simple thing to get tesolved but no.one will actually look into why I cant view that imformation anymore Can You pretty please with sugar.on top find out as calljng support and speakjng to the loans dept. Has escalated.it a.total of 5.times now but I never get a response about it I fet the.geberic.yout.not eligible right now which is again for clarificatio not what Im.askimg for.help with I just want.to be able to view the.page that shows people what they need to kmprove to get approved later maybe if they are lucky that day and computer decides to bless us with a.loan on that day can you or anyone thats a Square employee please please please look n to it and see whats up with this ive been trying for over a year to find this out but dont know what question Inhave to ask so.someone actually at leasr tries to find out and then replues afterwards but I canf get anyone to.even reply back so Im.out of options as Ive tried every available channel to fet this fixed and yet AN ENTIRE YEAR LATER and STILL CANT EVEN GET A SIMPLE REPLY. If I am interpreting your question correctly.... Are you using a mobile phone or tablet to check?  Or are you on the square website on computer.   Awhile back they changed it where you have to click on the loans tab under the loans section.   If you just click loans only your details come up.     Let me know how you are viewing and I will try and walk you through the steps

So On my computer or a tablet or a phone using ehde or firefox or chrome i login to my account vlick banking go to Loans inside banking then it pulls up the screen stating I am not currently eligible that had a small tab you can click that says view details now when I used to click view details it would take me to the eligibility factors page which would show my metrics and show me what's good what's not good now when I click that tab here is what it shows me instead....  so I included the loans page wherenit shows im not eligible then the view details rabb inside that section of my loans 0age and then the last screenshot is the page that the view details link yakes me too iy used to take me to the eligibbility facyors page but see above thats where it takes me now it does.same thi g on Pc and on tablet and on a.phone no.matter what browser im using Ive cleared my cookies and my cache have also followed same process on the app as well it is not an error on my part not being to ho to thr coreect place to get to the page its that square doesnt allow my acct to go.to that page support has said it is due to the computer autkmaticAlly takj g me to that page they have also said that it is because my acct is not reviewed ao there is no data for.yhe eligjblliyy factors page to display because the computer isnt checkkng my acct

So thank you for trying to help but its something that SQUARE SUPPORT NEEDS TO HELP WITH AND WONT DO SO OR EVEN RESPOND ABOUT I have tried.tagging mods here on the forums calling having case escalated and I always get same reply your not eligible at this time blah blah blah but never any jelp with the actual pronlem.that Im trying to get resolved being why is the computer not checking my acct and updating as it should be as support directly told me thats the only reason that page wouldnt display is because there is no data to display and so my account is not showing that data as the computers automated system isnt checking my acct like it notmally would this has been an ongoing issue in my acct for over a year I have no disputes in mt acct no returns no charge acks and 170k in square transactions so far this year. i have done 30k in transactions i last 3 months so there is plenty of activity for it to be checking but for some reason it isnt checking my acct. So Im stuck asking here over and over for someone at Square to help me and no one will even reply to my messages. I tried calling directly,.ive tried here ,ive  tried live help, ive  tried replying to emails I have received and still nothing. I just get a pre-canned generic reply about how im not eligible even though that isnt even what im asking which shows.my messages emails etc are not even being read as I have been super descriptive about the problem explained the issue in multiple threads tagged multiple square mods about it provided screenshots of the issue to same end result no help still.

Hello all. So an update for you guys, I did end up getting an offer. So they are still going out. It wasn't as much as I thought it would be, but that's OK. I jusy needed something. I was at 84% on my last loan before I got the offer. Im super grateful and I'm putting out good vibes for all!!

I did get an offer today! A little more than my first one - but my loans are still under $1000 - I just started the business this year and didn't switch to Square until May. Hang in there!

Still waiting for my day 😭 at 66% paid on a very large loan, probably my 12th or more with Square. Mine usually come mid-60s to mid-70s but with the holiday season here and expansion on the horizon for us, it would be so helpful now.
