set up a customer survey on my POS

I would like to be able to do a survey directly on the POS machine such as "where have you heard about us" with programable options. This would help in determining our advertising strategy. The result must not print on the receipts

Hi @fiddlekrazy thanks for posting this feature request and welcome to the Seller Community! While we don't have this feature, you can gather some feedback from your customers through our Customer Feedback feature. I know that this is not a survey in that it doesn't ask more detailed questions, but it is a good start toward understanding your customers. 

I tried doing the survey as an Item with modifiers and it worked to some extent but it printed on the receipt as an item sold as well as the kitchen order form which was confusing to the staff.

 

If the POS machine would allow more than 1 Category at a time but not all and then print only the category that was needed for the order then the problem would be solved 🙂

I need this feature as well. An item with modifiers works for us too. Can you at least give us the ability to exclude somehow from being printed? Item/question flag (that doesn't go to the receipt)?  The posts above are from 2020. Does this mean the feature is not on the roadmap and I should look elsewhere if we want to do this in a more legit way (exportable data etc...)?
