Really need an e-signature feature on invoices. I run a digital business where there is physical contact with my clients. I provide a service, rather than a product, signatures are a must.
@Synergy2 I think what you may be looking for is square contracts. With the contracts add on you can get digital signatures for your invoices with a contract attached.
@Synergy2 Let me clarify, are you running a digital business but you have face to face interaction with the client, are you wanting something where they can sign on an ipad when the invoice is paid? or does the client interact with the invoice completely through e-mail/link?
The feature you are looking for is currently implemented via Square Contracts just as @Donnie-M mentioned. You can attach a contract to your invoice so the customer has to sign to complete the payment of your services. At this time the Square Invoices team has decided that all signature-related tasks will be accomplished via Square Contracts. However, it would be good to see if other Sellers would be interested in having a signature field inside Invoices.

Digital signatures would be really helpful in the invoice part. We run a formal dress store business and use invoices daily. I have just added my own message in the note section of the invoice with a dotted line for them to sign in person.
Yes! Service based businesses need signature capability in invoices. We want to be able to fill out the invoice on a tablet, have the customer sign, then email a copy to them.
