Tip Splitting Percentages

At most bars/restaurants different employees are tipped out different percentages.  Ex. Hostess might get 10%, Barbacks 20%, Bartenders get 70% etc.

The current options have it just equal for everyone which isn't how most restaurants or bars operate.   Need to implement a percentage amount when selecting tips & hourly rate for each employee type.

Hi @Cabley - this is available today!  Go to Shifts > Settings > Tips and you can turn on `Pool tips by percentages`

The issue with this update is it only allows 1 way of pooling, you can't have alternate splits based on the different quantities of employees

Unfortunately I don't know if it will work for as we split tips after the shift worked, not at the end of the day or week.  And we split differently depending how many are working in different positions, which would change by shift, not by day or week.   Do you know if more fine tuning is coming with that feature?

Hi there - thanks for the feedback.  We are considering future updates such as multiple tip pools or different ways of splitting (per transaction, by day part, etc.) but don't have any committed timelines at this time.
