Subscription and Package Usage Tracking

I've seen threads of previous people having issues with being able to track usage of packages and subscriptions as people use them. For example, I have about 12 pieces of equipment in a day spa/wellness center, and I offer packages with multiple different services. With the subscriptions, people get a certain amount of the services based on tiers. I would like a way where it would track what people use based on that package, and with each service per month. I've been having to use an Excel sheet to mark off when they use it, and have to restart for each month for the subscriptions. It would also be awesome if there was a client/customer portal where they can look up their package or subscription services on their own, without having to call or come in to ask since its essentially pen and paper. I've looked into mangomint and they have software that does this, but I would like to keep all my services with square to flow better. Thank you!

YES! I would love if square offered prepaid package tracking with their services and appointments. I've read over an old thread from 2017/2018 with the same issue and noticed that there is a work around. Only issue is the work around would cause an accounting/payroll issue.

 

If I use the discount method or have an alternative service listed for $0, it miscalculates my technicians' commission and defeats the purpose of importing their commission from square.

I too have multiple types of services that I would like to include in memberships. It would make things SOOO much easier if it would track what services the member has used. I would also love an option to set up memberships in a point system. For example, one membership might be 5 points per month to use on services. Then the client can pick and choose each month between a list of services that have a set point (say 2 points for an hour massage, or 1 point for cupping) until their points are used up.

Our teams are currently mapping out the work on this so hearing your desired workflows is super helpful to know. Later this year we hope to start allowing sellers to track membership package usage and hopefully eliminate managing this in Excel and the other manual tracking methods you may be employing today.
