Sticky label

Sticky label

I am using the sticky label printer that square says is the only printer compatible with square register. I purchased the 80mm paper. It is a little too wide but mostly it prints really long. Too long for our smoothie cups. Will it change the print size and length of the ticket if I purchase the 58mm size roll? Or has anyone found any other label printer that will work with square register? I don’t want to have to get rid of square but I have to have labels for my business!

I'm using the Star TSP654II with 58mm sticky paper.  it seems that there is a bug that cuts off half the print sometimes (like it's offset).  I have to go to settings, set it to 40mm, print a test, then set it back to 58, but then it works fine until I power cycle it.  It does change the print size when you switch to 58mm.  The test label for 40mm is really tiny print

Hello, @GroovyS

Thank you for your feedback and for reaching out to us with your concern regarding the sticky label printer compatibility with Square Register. We understand the importance of having the right label size for your business needs and apologize for any inconvenience caused by the current paper size.

Regarding your question about the 58mm size roll, using a different paper size may indeed impact the print size and length of the ticket. To ensure compatibility and optimal performance, we strongly recommend using the paper size specified by the manufacturer for the sticky label printer.

We would also like to invite you to speak to our Square Restaurants for more suggestions or a workaround. Feel free to contact us when time permits. We would be more than happy to continue assisting you.

Have a great day!
