Square Appointments: Automatic Follow-up Email

Square Appointments will automatically send cleints reminder emails but currently there is no automated way to send a followup "Thank You" email.

 

This is pretty crucial for customer engagment. For instance, we use to get multiple reviews per month on TripAdvisor because our old booking system had this feature and we included a link and an invitation to give us a review. Since we've switched to square, our reviews have fallen sharply to zero.

 

Suggestion: Add follow-up email in the Automatic Notifications section of the Communications tab in Square Appointments.

Hi @emergespa, thanks for sharing your suggestion. You're correct that followup emails are not something that's currently available with Appointments. I definitely see how that would a time-saver. 

 

It's not a feature we're currently developing but we'll update you here if that should change in the future. Thanks again!

Bumping this because I think it would be really useful to all business that use square appointments!

We too would like to see automatic follow-up email capability. I was surprised to see this feature not available.

There's no updates around automatic follow up emails or text through Square Appointments, however I've seen a few sellers use the Marketing Campaigns to reach out to Appointments Clients in their Customer Groups for similar purposes. 

 

If anything changes around this we'll definitely post an update to let everyone know. 

Yes, I would LOVE this feature as well!!! Vagaro offers it.

I want to offer a service add on after their appointment date.

Bumping this post as it really should be a feature. Receiving reviews post-service is crucial to the advertising life and online presence of a business. There is a review system for the online store, but none for appointments. The same concept of the review system for online store should be implemented into appointment. This way, a user could adjust how long after the appointment a customer receives a follow-up email, of course the user can edit the email to their liking, and there should be an invitation for the customer to leave a review, whether it be on square, or elsewhere (i.e., FB, Yelp, Google, ect).

This really is a crucial feature that needs to be addressed! This is critical for customer satisfaction and follow up. Please add this!
