Is there any update on this feature? I will likely have to switch to a different platform if this isn't added. I frequently sell out and have may items this feature will help me prioritize what to restock first.
It didn't occur to us when we switched to Square recently that this feature wouldn't be available on a modern ecomm platform (esp one that already has the capability to collect emails).
It may be the one that causes us to revert (that and the inability to combine discount codes).
Square would make additional profit if there was a feature to notify customers when a product is back in stock. On our prior platform, this was a significant driver of sales for us. Since we propagate and grow live container plants, seedlings are constantly growing into mature plants and then selling out. It's not like we can just make sure our warehouse is full or something... Please consider instituting feature soon, thanks!
We get customers asking via email and phone when out of stock items are likely to be back in stock.
It would also help customers as when we put items back in stock we get orders rolling in pretty soon after. They must be checking back in to the website for the appearance of a stock
It would be big help to both us and our customers! 👍
