Hide Business Location on Square Online Appointments Booking Page

Challenge:

I have toggled "Phone Only" in the Where do you accept appointments? section of my Square Account > Appointments > Settings > Calendar & Booking > Appointment Preferences

My business location address is dynamically inserted on my Square Online Appointments page.

Feature Request:

Develop the option to hide the business address in the Services list section of the Square Online Appointments page.

This feature would optimize the user experience on the Appointments Booking page.

The business address appears prominently on the Appointments Booking page.

Meeting in person at the physical location is not an available service option for prospective clients when "Phone Only" is the Appointment setting.

@taylorandjones This is fantastic! Thank you so much for posting the instructions! I went into my own page settings and the box was not checked so that explains how it got fixed last week. Maybe they rolled out this new feature and leave it unchecked by default. I hope that's the case for others who end up in this boat.

For anyone else who lands here and is trying to troubleshoot, I also learned there are two different places where my address was entered.

1. Online > Settings > General has a Store Information form that can be edited. When you're editing your website in the Service list and Service items, it says, "Location information comes from your location details in Dashboard" and then there is a link to "Edit location details" which will take you to the General page.

This is where I thought I had changed my home address to the nearest cross streets and local park in order to protect my privacy, but it turns out I had changed it in Account Settings.

2. Account Settings is accessed by clicking the business name in the upper right corner. I had to go back in and edit those fields back to my actual home office address.

Now my site is published and working as expected.

I feel absolutely stupid and the only way I've been able to hide it is adding a space an a "." under my Online General Settings. Is there an easier way to hide it that someone could break down in a way that is easy to understand. The first instructions are very confusing.
I saw the image but there is no "Visible" option to uncheck. It's not there.

Hello @ReadySetGlam You've discovered a change in the Appointments page editor options since we first posted about it! Hopefully someone can provide an update about where the option to hide the business location has moved.

On a positive note, the option to toggle Images ON for Services is now available 😀

@taylorandjones Hi! But how do we keep out private address off of the receipt customers receive after booking an appointment ?

I have the 'Address' button unchecked but I still had my address show up on the purchase receipt.

Have you tried adjusting the receipts settings –

Square Account

Account & Settings

Business information > Receipt

Business Section

Show location (untoggle)

Thank you idk how I missed that I toggled that off and will see if that helps 🙂

I did also notice that my address is also shown on my template for a contract that must be signed prior to service. 

Is there a way to remove it from a template contract? I have been looking everywhere.

Have you tried designating Business Location Type to Mobile –

Square Account

Settings

> Account & Settings

Business information > 

Locations >

(select location)

> Business address

> Location Type

(select Mobile location)
