Currently, a customer can be prompted to add gratuity on transactions that are paid by credit card, but there is no option to add a gratuity to check payments. Many government customers, catering customers (who are placing larger orders!) or business clientele pay by check and will include the gratuity in their payment total.
We should be able to easily track the product cost separate from the gratuity, be able to provide an accurate receipt to these customers, and have accurate bookkeeping for this payment type. Can you look into this?
I see many old conversations in the seller community about it, but zero resolution.
