Feature Request: Square Gift Card and eGift Card redemption via a third-party website

The title of this post has been edited from the original: Can Square gift cards be used in my Wix site?

We use Wix to host our small business website and just upgraded to their online store functionality becuase it gave us the ability to customize and look like a cohesive party of our website. 

We are still using Square to process our payments. We were wondering if Square gift cards and discount codes can still be redeemed on our website?

We've been really happy with our service with Square but really need more customization for selling our classes. Any help is appreciated! Thank you!

With so many businesses shut down right now & most of us moving our stores online it would be sweet if there was a Plugin for WooCommerce so our customers who bought Square eGift Cards could use them online. 

This is a massive shortfall with the Square integration with Woo!

Please lets make this happen! I would most defiantly buy this Plugin!!

@OneBreathPhoto - sorry you feel that way. I understand it's frustrating to ask for a feature for years without any implementation.

I don't know the ins and outs of how our Product Team prioritizes feature requests but we track every single ask from our Sellers for our Product Team to understand the needs of their biz. So please know your post hasn't fallen on deaf ears.

I've recently added egift cards to our shop because I assumed this worked within the WooCommerce plugin, which we use on our website. We've used Square for many years and were excited to include Square as a payment option on our website so we can keep all of the transactions and reports concisely in one payment service. 

We've also been looking to add egift cards for awhile but were unable to find a plugin that worked well across POS and website orders. For our business, 75% of sales are made online, as we only use the phone app for festivals and events.

With the current status of things, most businesses are forced to rely on only online orders, making the need for egift card payments a necessity through their payment gateway of choice. Additionally, as instagram has offered to feature an egift card button on the platform, it makes NO sense to offer these gift cards with no way to redeem because you don't have POS payments available. This especially makes sense for restaurants that are relying on online orders and delivery, as well as many other small businesses and artisans (like me). 

Please shoot this message up the flagpole to whomever needs to hear it in order to approve. There is a need and desire by your customer base, and we are attempting to be loyal to the platform that you've provided. However, if needed, people will find other resources that can accommodate their needs.

@PreOrder_Apps I would VERY MUCH be interested in using Square eGift cards in my woocommerce store. Please let me know when the plug in is made available. As another member stated, during covid there are not many opportunities for customers to redeem the eGift cards in person on the POS. It would be extremely helpful if they were able to redeem online. Thank you!
