Feature Request - Group Bookings for Square Appointments

I run a variety of exercise services.  A weekend bootcamp that goes for 8 weeks each so once people sign up they are automatically in for the next 8 weeks.

 

Kids bootcamp which are only on at set times each week based on age group.

 

And then one-to-one personal training which I have a few appointments a week available.

 

I am struggling to organise the various bookings on Square.  Is it possible to have one service that is booked and paid for once every 8 weeks.  

 

The kids bootcamp people can sign up each week but I can't work out how to limit the two sessions to only one particular age group.

 

The one-to-one sessions are okay, I've managed to get those done. 

 

Any advice appreciated.  TIA

I am starting a small tourism business. I have a number of tours, departing specific locations or from a client requested location, at a specific time. My bus accommodates 10 persons. I would like to take multiple bookings all for the same time. Is there a way to achieve this?

Multiple/group bookings are currently feature requests that we're tracking for Square Appointments. I've gone ahead and moved your post to the thread where this conversation is taking place so we can continue to track the feedback we receive.

We've offered a few different workarounds in this thread, including creating an event through Square Online to enable multiple tickets to be purchased at the same time. Have a read through these suggestions and ensure you test any workaround to confirm it will work for your business long-term. If you have any further questions about the workarounds offered, please do not hesitate to reach out to us.

Once we have more news to share on this, we'll be sure to tag everyone in this thread with an update.

None of the workarounds work for us. We are a very small museum that offers group tours and programs, often booked by one person for a variety of attendees with different pricing for kids, seniors etc. These are scheduled at request, not preexisting events or classes. We need a system that allows a single person to select the type of service(s), select the number of attendees at different price points, and select a time and date. That's all. As we use Square for many things, our preference would be to use Square Appointments for this, but we are looking for alternative solutions since Square continues to drag their heels on this. It's frankly baffling that this isn't a priority feature.

Group bookings are something we're working on, so I'd recommend joining our Beta Programme if you haven't already - this is where we reach out to sellers to try out new features before launch. 

Hi, I'm trying to set up a bar hopping tour business. I notice that appointments by square doesn't allow me to schedule your bookings and itineraries. I would like to have this as min 2 max 12. And put on a calender for specific dates I.e the Friday can be the mile high Tour and the Saturday  can be the dirty dozen tour. How do I have this set up? Is there someone I can speak with ??

Square Appointments is currently optimised for one on one bookings, such as beauty services, or personal training, for example. That being said, group bookings are in the works, and you could consider using some of the workarounds shared in this thread. Setting up a minimum, or maximum group size is also not currently available via appointments. 

 

I'd suggest taking a look at setting up an event via Square Online instead, where selling multiple event tickets is a bit more straightforward.

Hi Arie, thats great news that class bookings are now available for Square Appointments.. However an overwhelmingly large amount of Square users NEED the ability to book out multiple staff members for particular services that require staff members.. It should be as simple as creating a setting in which you can lock a services availability in alignment with the required staff availabilities.

Square has come this far.. So whats stopping it from progressing with such a simple yet crucial feature to any appointments booking platform??
