Discount Codes to be used when booking an appointment online

I'd like to offer a special for clients for booking online, but there is no option for them to enter in a discount code when booking their appointment. This would be an essential asset to business marketing, promotions and bookings. It's important to have pre-paid booking options, but if i want to offer a discount, there doesn't seem to be any way to do this

Currently there isn't a way for your customers to use coupons or promo codes for Appointments booked from your online Appointments booking site. We're tracking this feature request! 

In the meantime if you use Square Marketing to send customers coupons you can apply those coupons at checkout from Appointments app. (And you can create a discount and apply that at checkout when your client arrives for their appointment.)

We don't have an update on this request yet @Eco-Waterless! Can you provide a bit more about your business and how promo codes for Appointments would help you? Do you frequently run promotions?

Square has not done anything to address our request in 2 years, which is very poor customer service, in my opinion. There is no indication that they will ever address this shortcoming which would be simple to implement, considering many other scheduling solutions have had this capability for a while now.

I recommend Acuity Scheduling which integrates seamlessly with Square (and a million other services), and has a simple way to add discount codes that work at checkout.

Maybe Square will figure this out by 2020? 2025?

Signed up to Square Appointments today. All setup and looking everywhere to figure out how to add a promo code/discount. Finally found this thread after a lengthy Google search only to read that Square customers have been asking for this for YEARS... Fairly dissapointed and already considering abandoning my new Square account. @Chad @Helen it'd be nice if you could actually give us some answers...

I think promo codes would greatly benefit my business. I am opening a salon and I could use promo codes for trade shows and even in collaboration with other local businesses.

square is one of the best. however it would be great to be able apply discount codes for appointments and also be able to take deposits and keep the card on hold as one.
