Disabling Auto Correct on Square Register User Tickets

We would like to be able to turn off the auto correct when entering customer names in the Tickets section

Is there any way?

Autocorrect is a system-level thing. Unfortunately there isn't a way to turn it off per app.

iOS: Settings -> General -> Keyboards ... toggle Auto-Correction off

Android: Settings -> My Device -> Language and Input ... tap the gear icon for your keyboard, then toggle Auto Replacement

I know how to turn off on our apple I Pads. Why cannot Square Register do the same

Yeah... I didn't think about the Square Register... I don't use them myself (yet), but I know a few other SuperSellers that do use register. @pessosices , @HC_Charlie and the others: any ideas if this can be done??

If there is a way, I don't know about it. I'd LOVE to have the option, as I often type notes into the receipts, and some of my names are pretty unusual and the register doesn't like them LOL. and I usually don't have time during a transaction to keep trying to get it to accept my typing.

Did you ever find a way to accomplish this?   We have square registers, and my staff is complaining about it as well.
