Custom file uploader for customer

I find that this feature request is one that has been ignored or looked over for the past 2+ years. 

A lot of us are needing a custom file uploader added to the platform. 

This feature should be an option to add on the items page (like a digital order to physical item shipped) that will allow the customer to add their files (such as images) to their orders along with qty, size, type, color, etc. 

The need for this follows many trends for custom printing options that are trending upwards tremendously and will aid in businesses like ours to grow massively with this option (we are wanting to add custom DTF printing to our webstore). Square would be wise to quickly implement this options as it could be a deterrent for current square accounts to switch to other platforms that already offer this feature.

This is really interesting! If you don't mind can I get some more insight? To be clear you would want this option available in the items section of the point-of-sale application correct? How would the seller add their files from the point of sale? If you don't mind walk me through how other platforms are currently utilizing this just so I have a better idea! Again I think I think this a great suggestion if we can get some more details that would be very helpful. 🙂

I fully agree with this!

We are a picture framing service and customers are unable to send pictures to be framed. This is so frustrating! I am being forced to transfer my website from square to another website builder. I would be more than happy to work with square to give you the information needed to make this happen ASAP!
