Can a customer use square gift cards to prepay in Square Appointments?

I want to start offering Square Gifts Cards or ecards, but I don't see an option for my clients to use them to Pre-Pay on my square Appointments page...they can only pay with credit cards.

The ability to pay with a Square Gift Card on your Appointments booking page isn't available at this time, but that is a great idea and would be a tremendous help to sellers (especially during the holidays).

Thank you. I just invested in the physical gift cards after learning last October that the ecards wouldn’t work. I was rather disappointed to learn that these don’t work with square appointments either. I hope square does address this issue.

I cannot seem to find where the option to enable prepaying square appointments with gift card/e-gift card/coupon code is. 

Secondly, is there going to be any integration with zapier for when a new appointment is scheduled? Or is there a webhook for this? This is rather essential for my workflow.

@ChesterChiro Sorry for the trouble! It's not possible for clients to prepay for an appointment using a Square gift card or eGift Card. EJ answered the post in this thread so I've moved your post here.

I don't have an update about a Zapier integration but if you haven't already I recommend subscribing to this thread: Is a Zapier Integration In The Future? (Click Subscribe at the top right of the post.) When you subscribe you'll get an email when that thread is updated!

Just checking into see if there is any progress in allowing customers to prepay for their appointment using a gift card? I wrote a suggestion for this integration last year on 7/5 and haven’t heard anything. Gift cards are honestly one of the number one things customers request from me since I don’t allow people to make appointments for friends and family. I’ve now had to invest in an additional card to include with the gift card with instructions explaining how can book an appointment with me using a gift card. I love the appointments feature of square and would be over the moon if you would integrate the gift cards as a form of acceptable pre-payment.

When my clients book appointments through the Square Appointments site, there is not an option available to redeem their gift cards. How can I set it up so that they can use them at the time of booking? I have my account set with no-show protection, so a CC is required at time of booking.
