Block customer due to Chargeback Fraud

I recently had a customer wrongfully dispute a transaction and won despite no evidence. Of course credit card companies side with their customer 90% of the time. But I don't want this person doing it again! I wish I could block either their name or credit card to keep them from making another purchase and scamming us again. Unfortunately I don't know what this person looks like so I can't simply warn my coworkers.

 

I saw that Online Square has this feature, but I wish we could do it for Square for Retail / in person POS as well.

Thanks for reaching out and providing this feedback! I hate to hear this has been your experience and understand the frustration because it is unfair to you to have to be dealing with this. 

 

I would check out this post and response from _Violet, Square Online currently does not have a feature that can block customers. If this was to be implemented since we don't know who they are, you want the ability to block the card from being used, is that right?  Is that how you would want it to work?
