Why won't square allow me to change my email from personal to business email? It keeps saying, "Invalid email"
I was able to change mine in dashboard under locations.
just make sure it is typed correctly *****@***.*** and it should work as long as you are the owner of the account.
Everything is spelled correctly & the business email acct is in my name. It keeps saying, "The new email address is invalid or missing." There's no reason for this. One wonders why I should give square a percentage of every sale if I can't even use my preferred email.
Where are you trying to edit your email address at? In app? On the square dashboard? What page of the dashboard?
It has nothing to do with email ownership.

@Stephensonak - I'm so sorry to hear about the trouble! You should definitely be able to update your email preference with out an issue. It may be possible that there is an issue with the internet browser you're using. Have you tried resetting the browser? If you have another one installed, it may also be worth trying from that browser. I tend to gravitate towards Google Chrome. If these tips don't help, it may be easiest if you work with a supporter one-on-one since this is pretty account specific. You can always reach out directly here.
