text phone number

I signed up for the text feature and it assisnged  me a random phone number. How do I edit that and use my own phone number? Thank you

I am a business owner who uses square and I signed up from an email sent to me that square now offered text messaging.. Somehow I missed the part where I entered the number I wanted to use. Square assigned me a random 844 number. I do not want to use that number. I want to use my existing business number. I cannot find the instructions anywhere. Thank you.

Ahh ok thanks for clarifying @FELICIA1962. That 844 number is an automatic number assigned to you that is unique for your business. There's not a way to customize it. Sorry for any misunderstanding!
