Is it possible to keep employees from reassigning open tickets from one employee to another?
Sure! From the Team Management Tab of Dashboard, click the role to edit its permission set. Under Checkout, make sure View all open tickets for all team members and make sure is disabled.
Thanks for the reply Justin. But if I disable the "view open tickets", won't the employees not be able to see any of the tickets that are still open? Or will they still be able to view the customers ticket, just not be able to reassign the tab? They're going to still need to see what food or beverage items a customer has on their tab.
Managing tickets is an all or nothing feature - meaning you won't be able to give them permission to view other team member's tix without giving them abilities to reassign them too.
this is a huge problem...I have servers tranferring other servers tickets to themselves and the other servers saying that its unfair if they did not give permission. Only the server assigned to the ticket should be able to transfer her ticket out...would save alot of headache for the manager!
