iPad is not syncing with Square Dashboard

Item pricing changed and updated in Square Up on computer, changes not reflected in Register on mobile device.  any thoughts?

Hey @DonnaB, that does sound strange. It can take a few moments for updates to sync across all devices.

 

I'd recommend making sure that you have a strong internet connection and run through these troubleshooting tips. If you're still encountering this issue after that, please contact our Support Team and we'll be sure to get to the bottom of it!

wasn't internet connection, was a broader issue - pricing updates that were weeks old had not synced to my iPhone6 nor iPad Air - I had to pair my devices, again, after receiving new contacless pad and mag swipe plug in (logged out and logged in with device code instead of email and password) - did it once when I first received them, but had to re-do for whatever reason - maybe an update/upgrade that didn't sync across all devices?  Who knows.  But the pricing changes are now reflected on mobile device(s) and all card readers are working properly.

@DonnaB This was a known issue that was addressed a few weeks ago but doesn't seem to be working properly as it happened to me again this weekend. Read this thread, also with the same post name as yours, on some fixes should it happen again. Basically, just create a test item in the iPhone/iPad app and delete it. Once you exit the Edit area your changes will sync. That way you wont have to sign out or pair your readers.
