i noticed my report says CASH - could that be AMEX? I don't see the deposits on my bank statements

i noticed my report says CASH - could that be AMEX? I don't see the deposits on my bank statements.  and when i add the bank statement deposits to what square says I am short that exact amount

Hi @valleykids, welcome to the Community. 

 

Your AMEX transactions will show the same as other card sales, but it sounds like you may be seeing other tender payments

 

In the Point of Sale app, sales can be entered as "Cash" in order to track all of your sales, but these are just for organizational purposes; no funds are processed by Square with cash payments.

I have 3 transactions of this type last few days and no deposit were made from these deposit.  What is the issue here?  TIA

Hello @JohnC45 it sounds like these transactions were marked as cash, rather than processed as credit or debit. if they were marked as cash then no funds were processed, since you accept cash in person. You will need to contact the customer to reprocess these transactions. 

 

If the customer received an email receipt our Support Team can contact them upon your behalf.
