how do i shrink my uploaded images to fit in the square

my images for my products are too large for the square they provide...how do I get them to fit?

The recommended size for the grid pictures on the Point of sale is 720x720 pixels. 🙂

Do you know what the recommended size for slideshow images? I tried 720x720 and the images are still showing zoomed into.

I am having the hardest time sizing my images to use them for a slideshow on the front page of my website. I read lots of threads on here to know that my images should be 720x720. Well, the 720 isn't working for the slideshows, the slideshows look a little more longer. Does anyone know what I need to size my images for the slideshow so they don't look zoomed into at all? Thank you for any help, I've been going crazy over this for the last few days.

We have seen success for the Online Store using 2000 x 1000 pixels for other portions in the editor, specifically for the banner, but we do not recommend a specific size due to variations in different settings when edited. You should be able to adjust the zoom settings for slideshow images within the photo editor within the navigation bar. Here is a helpful guide to get started.

Hi Joe,

I tried using the zoom scroll bar but it was all the way zoomed out as can go and my photo was still cropped. I’m guessing it’s too big still and I’ll have to make it even smaller and then try re-uploading it again.

Thanks for the quick response and update, @kenzie6488 - I appreciate you bouncing back here and letting us know where you stood. 

I think you are on the right track here. Since our proprietary tools aren't able to alter your photos in a sufficient way, we would agree it may be best to find an online image reducing converter and re-uploading.
