My business is mostly online. I do not have inventory loaded or a "store" set up in Square, however I invoice through Square, and ship items to customers. Am I able to allow customers to purchase e-gift cards that they can redeem as payment of an invoice? I can't seem to find where to change the setting, and invoices just say "Visa, Mastercard, Amex, and Discover cards accepted." Thanks in advance.

From the invoice page, go to settings, then invoice. You can check the box there to offer it on all invoices.

@BrendasNails when creating an invoice you should see an option to turn on the gift card payment type. Hope these help..
Below is a screenshot of an invoice I created to send to myself.
Below is what it looks like on the customer side

Thank you. Is there a way to change that to default as an option for all invoices?

Thanks again. I had done that, and then did a test invoice and didn't see the option. Perhaps I forgot to save the change. I'll check again.
Very welcome!! I haven't set mine as default, if it doesn't save could be a glitch in the system that needs to be reported. It should save the setting for you.
What happens if the gift card is for $150 and the Invoice is for $150 but then during payment (if tipping is turned on) they choose to add a tip at the end of the process of another $30?
