contactless reader not charging

When I try to charge my contactless reader, 4 Amber lights come on, then 2, then none. Have tried a rest. Is this normal ?

Are lights supposed to be lit on the charger WHILE it is charging or only flash on whey out plug it in to a power source ?

The lights will flash once when you first plug your reader in but they won't stay lit during the whole charging process. You can check the progress of your charge at any point by pushing the button on the back of your reader. Check out the table below for a full breakdown of what the lights on the reader indicate:
