add cost after the sale

Is there a way to add the cost to an item after the sale so the reports are correct.

Not sure exactly what you mean, but there isn't a way to adjust a transaction to cost more after the transaction is completed.  You can adjust a transaction down by issuing refunds afterwards though.

Welcome to the Seller community and congrats on your first post! Currently there is not an ability to modify a transaction once it’s settled or a report.

We'll be sure to keep you posted if there is ever an update made.
