Workday vs Labor cost

I select workday and one employee worked 9.57 hours (over 2 days)

I than went to labor costs and this number 9.95 hours came up for this employee (for both days)

Why is there a difference?

@Cafe_Eleven Under time cards you have a couple different settings.  If you go to Timecards ---> Settings ---> Schedule ---> workday hours.

Under workday hours you can specify what time your workday ends (if you are open 24 hours etc).  Typical is midnight, so when you pull up workday to see what they work it will still show their total shift time.

However,  when you do labor cost it has a tab at top that is set to "All Day" and will cut off at midnight if that is your work day.  So the discrepancy is probably in the different times the program is looking at the hours worked.  You can change the "all day" setting to specific times if you like.

Hope this helps,
