Will the plastic gift cards work on all square pos systems I have?

I am using Square at more than one location.  If I purchase in bulk will they work across all POS systems?

They will work at all locations under one master account but not across multiple Square accounts like if you have a Square account for an auto parts store and a different account for a Tire shop across town (but they could if they were under one Square account using locations).
