Will square update inventory automatically while offline

I have a food truck. Service some places with absolutely no internet, and barely any phone. The inventory on my square did not alert me when I was out of something and I sold things I didn't have. Will the new square stand operate the inventory offline or is it like the current cloud based software

Sorry to hear about the confusion with your inventory. At this time, we are not able to offer in-app alerts for low inventory, but you can view the inventory in real-time by going to Items > All Items > select item > refer to "Stock" just below the price. Unfortunately, you'll need an internet connection to be able to load the stock count.

If needed, you can adjust your inventory amounts as you receive a new supply. For more details on this, have at this section of our Support Center: Basic Inventory Management.

So that I can share some more information on this request with our Inventory Team, what kinds of items did you end up selling but did not intend? Were they in another location?
