Can anyone tell me why a Campaign directed at new customers would not be automatically emailed after their first visit? I have seen 2 or 3 new customers since launching the campaign, and the stats of the email still say that 0 have been sent.
The customers have to opt in for email marketing. When they checked out, did they put in their email address for a receipt? If the receipt screen showed and they didn’t enter their email they won’t get the welcome email. Texting a receipt will get them into the loyalty program if you have it enabled but not the marketing.
If you don’t have email collection enabled, you can’t sign up new people either.
I am having this same issue. I’ve had 3 or 4 new customers since I enabled this promotion. None have been sent or opened and the email itself says the coupon expired at a past date, with no option to edit it. I’m an appointment based business and have email and phone plugged in for all of my customers, so they receive appointment reminders. Why isn’t this working?
