Why do sellers have only 24 hours to fulfill an order?

Why do sellers have only 24 hours to fulfill an order? What if they're stuck in the middle of nowhere with no Internet access? Why can't Square extend things to 48 or 72 hours?  Is it just me?  [Personal Information Redacted]

Hello again @Radioman61549.

 

We do have the option to adjust your fulfillment time anywhere from 1 - 60 days. You will find this option under settings for your Online Store Dashboard. Scroll down to your shipping settings and you should see the image below. 

 

 

Once you click on the tab depicted you can change your ship within time!

Thanks, Chad--I made the changes. But why didn't the customer service rep know this information and explain it to me when we spoke?
