Why are there no item images/photos on Invoices ?

I have Square linked with my Etsy account. I am not able to see any of the photos for the listings that have synced.I've just had to type in custom amounts and do generic receipts due to not being able to see the products and find the specific one the customer wants. How do I fix this? Thanks in advance, very new to Square.

Hello @artstansell, welcome to the Seller Community! 

 

Your items from Etsy should sync over and populate inside your item library. You will be able to pick an item to add to your cart from the Point of Sale app. If you only see the number pad take a look at the bottom of your screen, there should be an icon that resembles a list. Click this icon to bring up your items! 🙂

Right, so when I open the listings, none of the photos will load. I can't see any of the product photos. I need the photos there in order to select the correct listing. I understand how to find the listing, I just can't get it to show the photos I uploaded.

@arstansell I see, have you tried uploading the image for the item already?

 

We have a great article on how to Create and Manage Items with Square Point of Sale. This will help you with uploading images, so you can quickly identify what you're adding to the cart.

That's definitely weird if they're still not showing up after you uploaded them on the Point of Sale app. I recommend reaching out to our Customer Success Team so they can take a look at the back end of your account with you over the phone @arstansell

I have been unsuccessful uploading a photo.  This new program is terribly confusing and complicated.  I liked the older one.  There was a square for the photo, drag photo to it.  Done.  Now I cannot find anything that even says photo.  All the directions say do this and do that, but none give a direct instruction.  This is terrible!
