Is there a place on the Square website that states, "Vendors cannot see and have no access to Customers Credit Card information when they make purchaes online"
I'm a massage therapist and I'm starting to use Square appointments. I'm setting it up so clients schedule their own appointments online. To schedule an appointment clients must give credit card information. I'm concerned that new clients might be unwilling to give CC # to someone they don't know, and will worry that I will get their CC # and information. I'd like to link them to a page that states the above information.
I'm finding some similar information, but not this specific information.
Thanks!
@painRX Great question! It's definitely worth knowing where this information is available.
First of all, when you require a client to prepay for their Appointment at the time of booking they will see a message stating their card information is Protected and Encrypted by Square Inc.:

If your client doesn't notice this message when they make their Appointment you can refer them to our Support Center article about Privacy and Security at Square. This article has more detail about how card holder information is encrypted and stored securely by Square.
I hope this helps! I'd also recommend including a phone number on your booking site so that new clients can give you a call if they have any questions about your business before they book online.
