What is the penalty for not having enough funds in the account to handle a refund?

How much is it for a charge if there was a refund given and not enough funds to cover it? I have been repeatedly calling them and the square code I've been given is not working.

Hello @narobi69, sorry to hear about the trouble with your customer code. Is it saying code invalid? 

So there will never be a fee or penalty from Square for processing a refund. If you don't have enough funds in your Square Balance to cover the refund we will pull the rest from your linked bank account. If you don't have enough funds in your bank account you might receive an insufficient funds fee from the bank, but we won't penalize you for that.
