What is the best way to set up California Redemption Value (CRV)?

I am looking for the best way to set up California Redemption Value on my Square system. On a previous system I used a modifier and kept track of it that way. Probably could do that again but wondered if there is any better way to do it. Can't do it as a tax since it only accepts percentages.
