You have the option to set up whatever taxes you would like to collect on your Dashboard or Point of Sale app.
If you reach a certain threshold of $20,000 in credit card payments and over 200 credit card payments - Square will send you a 1099K Form for that year's taxes. Here is a link for an overview of that form.
