What happens to unredeemed gift cards if I switch to a different POS system?

I am selling gift cards this holiday season but I am also considering switching to a different POS system in the spring. How can the cards be redeemed if I do switch?

Hi @waywardsalon! Welcome to the Community.

Unfortunately those gift cards are tied to your specific Square account so they would be deemed useless with another POS system.

Even if you had multiple accounts with us, they could only be used with the Square account they were bought/activated with.

I use MindBody as my POS and processing system and don't currently use any other Square products. Can I use their gift cards with MindBody?
