What does Unattributed Mean When viewing Sales Report?

When I am looking to run weekly, monthly or whatever sales report, there is an option to view my team member. I get all that, but what does "Unattributed" mean? Where are these transactions coming from and who do they pertain to?

I think I have the same issue. it attributes sales to "Untracked employees", and I don't know how that happens.
