What are the dimensions of the cash drawer / does the drawer come out of the box?

I'm having a custom service counter built and I want to be able to either lock the entire cash drawer into the counter or lift the drawer out of the box and lock it in in the cabinet. Can you tell me the dimesions of the entire cash drawer box and if the drawer can be lifted out or not?
