Variable Weight Bar Codes / CAS-1000 Integration

My shop has 3 CAS 1000 scales for weighing meats and deli products. I have everything else in my store that has bar codes working but since the codes from the CAS scales are variable in price and weight depending on the item....square can't read them. This is a really important feature that I think many many businesses would appreciated a solution for. Is there any progress on this? I realize that you can now connect certain scales to the Square system but that's not really a help for my business since we have way to many items to be cherry picking them on the ipad first then putting stuff on the scale. We are also way too busy to be going through those steps. It should be: weight item, print sticker with bar code, bring to register and scan.
