I run a school store for students in our business program. We are non-profit. I want to use the square app to manage inventory and as a means for students to check out customers. We only take cash and have a cash box students put cash in when they make a sale. Is square feasible for that? I'm looking to keep costs low as it's only our first year, and as we grow perhaps use a more advanced system.
Hey @pcarozza
It sounds like Square would be a great solution for you!
You an absolutely manage inventory and take cash only and do cash management using the Square app on an iPad!
And best of all, it would be completely free (except for the cost of the iPad).
And as you grow, Square can grow with you, so you won't even have to switch systems, just make small upgrades as needed.

Cash Drawer Management Feature:
(We don't use the cash drawer management features, we just know how much we put into the drawer every morning for change, and count that out every time, but I know a lot of sellers do use the feature)

Hope this helps, and let me know if you have any other questions,
