Unpaid balance but no unpaid invoice showing in dashboard.

I made and sent an invoice a few days ago, but the customer decided to use an alternative method to pay. They did not pay online so the unpaid balance is still showing on my invoice page. The unpaid invoice does not show up so it can be canceled. Only the paid invoices are showing when all the invoice options are selected in the drop down tab. What could be going on?

Hmm, not sure I understand, @YarnGeek - you can see the unpaid invoice from your Dashboard? You should be able to click on it, and under "More" dropdown, you will see the option to either cancel or mark it as paid.

I can not see the unpaid invoice. It has disappeared as if it never existed. Only the invoices which were paid in the past show up. However, I still show an unpaid balance.

Thanks for following up. First you'll want to make sure that the date range is set. Additionally, click on the "Invoices" button next to that, that will drop down the different paid states and you'll want to make sure the Unpaid option is checked. 

 

If you've done that, I would also suggest changing web browsers and see if it's still not visible when using other ones. Hopefully that covers it but let me know if not!
