I use Acuity Scheduling and I use Square to receive payments. All of the transactions come in as uncategorized. Is this something I can change in Square for when the transactions come in?
Hi @jimfelder! Acuity is actually the one to own the integration, and the way your transactions appear. Have you tried reaching out to them yet? They should be able to give you an answer as to whether or not this can be changed!

Thank you, yes I have contacted them in the past and they said it’s not something they can change. I think that is ridiculous. I think I might contact them again. It’s been a while. They only have support via email.
I have the same issue.
Hi @StimulateWell - Thanks for reaching out to us here on the Square Seller Community👋
The Best Answer that was given by @BEA_ in this thread still contains the most accurate and up-to-date information for your question. Please see their answer for more info. Thank you!
When transactions are made through Acuity, it simply shows up as "Online Transaction." I offer multiple things through Acuity such as appointments, events, memberships, and packages. Is there a way for the transaction to state what the payment was for? Thanks.
Hey @seedtostar,
I moved your post to an existing thread where another seller had the same question.
As @nika stated above- this would be something you'd need to contact Acuity about since it's their integration.
They should be able to answer if that's something you can change or not.
It makes it impossible to use reporting and track sales effectively in square. Sucks that Square refuses to address it. You can use stripe with acuity though and apple is soon unrolling an option!
Have you had any luck with this? I have the same issue
Hey there @kidzartpbc
There are no new updates related to this as the integration is handled by Acuity as stated before. Thank you for taking the time to post about this.
No. Square refuses to address it. You can use stripe with acuity though and apple is soon unrolling an option!
