Tipping and online checkout links

I send my clients an online checkout link before each service. This was previously defaulting to a 15% tip with the option to change it. Now it defaults to NO TIP and all my clients are missing the change (That I did not make). How do I set the default back to 15%??? I searched your site and it very clearly still says the default tip will be 15% however it is not. (Pasted below) I must say Square, your tipping issues are forever causing major disruption.

Enable Tipping for Online Checkout

When you’re creating a Checkout link, you can easily allow for tips from your customers. To get started with accepting tips from your customers:

  1. In your online Square Dashboard, go to Online Checkout

  2. As you're creating your checkout link, go to Advanced Settings and check the box to Enable tipping.

  3. Enter a name for your link and the amount you want to charge.

  4. Click Create link and select Copy link to share the link anywhere.

Your customers will now automatically see tipping settings of 15%, 20%, and 25% on their payment link, with a default tip percentage of 15%. "

Did you ever get an answer on this? My online checkout has tipping enabled but does not show up as an option when the item type is Service. Why?! Where did it go?

Hi there, @fikathreelakes, just jumping in here to clarify some information.

When you're creating your checkout link, which link type are you selecting before attempting to apply the tip? See the below screenshot.
