Why are my tax chargesso high of late.Previously they have been ok but lately I have been charged nearly $93 from a transaction of $ $1000.00?

are you talking about square's credit card processing rate or sales tax rate?

Square's prices are here and show on every transaction.  there isn't a high enough Square rate to get to $93 unless you are doing all manual transactions at a $2 average transaction.   $2 * .035 +.15=2.22 *450 = $999 with $99 in fees.
