I can enter the credit card number, etc, and the charge gets accepted. But when I swipe the same card, nothing happens. I cannot find any help for this problem on the Square website. Can anyone help troubleshoot this?
I had the same problem. It turned out the reader was not inserted all the way. Push it in until it clicks and holds fast in place. If it feels loose, it is not making the proper connection.
