When a customer has a declined card, the register is inoperable for a minimum of 4 minutes which irritates the customer, the other customers waiting, and the staff. Any way to bypass this?
Hmm, the Register shouldn't stall for that long. Sounds like an internet issue or a software issue.
First check to see if an update is available (Settings > Hardware. Tap General > About Register > Software Update.)
Try these other steps also if you find your register is already UTD. @Apollos1
