Is there a way to create sub catergiories for modifiers in the square pos system? ex:A customer asks for a strawberry banana smoothie but is allergic to strawwberries. Is there a way to select the item and then highlighting key workds like: NO, SUB, ALLERGIC, LITE. So i would highlight Allergic and then hit strawberry. ALLERGIC STRAWBERRIES you pop up on the order. It would be a lot faster than typing everything in notes.

Thanks for your post @acaibowlguy!
We don't have a way to add a sub category under a modifier, but you could create a regular modifier that is titled "ALLERGIC STRAWBERRIES" and have it be listed for $0.00. You'd have to go through and select which items that you want that ALLERGY modifier to be applied to (probably any item that has strawberries mixed in). But that would be a quick way of adding that note so you're not physically typing out the words "Allergic Strawberries" each time.
That modifier will also show up on a printed receipt if you're passing a receipt along for employees.
Hopefully this workaround helps!
