Start transaction with customer?

OK, my last place of work had your Square tablet for checkout.  Each transaction began with finding the customer and than adding the services performed.

I am unable to do this with my phone app or my laptop.

How do I do this so I don't have to go into every transaction and add the later?!

On your phone:

Click on the hamburger menu icon on the top left corner.  

Click Customers.  

Click All Customers.  

Search for your customer and select them.  

At the top of the screen it says "New Sale With Customer"  

Click that and your good to finish the sale.

Thank you, but I do not have that option on my phone!

I know what it is supposed to look like as my previous employer had that option on her iPad.

Are you using the Square "Point of Sale" app?  Even if you don't have permissions you should still see it on the menu?  Here is a screen shot of what it should look like.
