Square bar code inventory management

Greetings,

What is the best system/scanner that can be integrated with Square to track retail store merchandise?  I want to be able to create a SKU/barcode for each item and check out the customer by using the scanner.  Any suggestion what bar code system works the best with Square and how difficult is to install/integrate?  Thanks.
